By diffusing a gentle, uniform cold across the entire hand and to the fingertips, they offer a natural solution to limit certain side effects associated with treatments, such as brittle nails, hand-foot syndrome, or sensations of numbness and tingling.

During the infusion, applying cold causes localized vasoconstriction (a temporary narrowing of the blood vessels) in the extremities. This helps to reduce peripheral blood flow and decrease the exposure of your nails and skin to treatment molecules.

💡 Usage instructions

1. Preparation: Place the cooling gloves flat in the freezer at least 2 hours before your appointment (or the night before).
2. Transport: Place your frozen gloves in an insulated bag with ice packs to maintain the cold until you arrive at the oncology center.
3. Application: Put on the gloves 10 to 15 minutes before the product injection begins, then change them every 30 minutes for optimal cold throughout the duration recommended by your care team. Keep the gloves on for at least 30 minutes after the session ends.
4. Maintenance: Clean the gloves with a damp cloth and/or a disinfectant product (e.g., Surfanios). Never immerse them in water, and dry them thoroughly before placing them back in the freezer.
